Wherein

그 복음으로 인하여

I suffer trouble,

내가 괴로움을 당합니다

as an evil doer,

행악자처럼

even unto bonds;

곧 매이기까지

but the word of God is

그러나 하나님의 말씀은

not bound.

매이지 않습니다

Therefore

그러므로

I endure all things

내가 모든 것을 견딥니다

for the elect's sakes,

택하심을 받은 이들을 위하여

that

이는

they may also obtain the salvation

또한 그들에게 구원이 이루어지기 위함입니다

which is in Christ Jesus

그리스도 예수님 안에 있는

with eternal glory.

영원한 영광과 함께

On the left hand,

왼쪽에서

where he doth work,

그분이 일하시나

but I cannot behold him:

내가 그분을 바라볼 수 없고

he hideth himself

그분께서 자신을 감추시니

on the right hand,

오른쪽에서

that I cannot see him:

내가 그분을 볼 수 없습니다

But

그러나

he knoweth

그분께서 아시니

the way

길을

that I take:

내가 가는 (길을)

when he hath tried me,

그분께서 나를 단련하신 후에

I shall come forth

내가 나올 것입니다

as gold.

금처럼

Man

사람은

that is born of a woman

여자에게서 태어난

is of few days,

날 수가 적고

and full of trouble.

괴로움이 가득합니다

He cometh forth

그가 와서

like a flower,

꽃 같이

and is cut down:

꺽이고

he fleeth also

그는 또한 사라져서

as a shadow,

그림자처럼

and continueth not.

계속 머물지 못합니다
