| Who gave himself |
 그분은 자신을 주셨으니
|
| that he might redeem us |
|
그것은 그분께서 우리를 대속하여
|
| from all iniquity, |
|
모든 불법에서
|
| and purify unto himself |
|
또 (우리를) 자신에게 정결하게 하며
|
| a peculiar people, |
|
특이한 백성으로
|
| zealous of good works. |
|
선한 일에 열심을 갖게 하기 위함입니다
|
|

| Teaching us that, |
|
(그 은혜는) 우리를 가르칩니다
|
| denying |
|
부인하면서
|
| ungodliness |
|
하나님을 닮지 않는 것과
|
| and worldly lusts, |
|
세상의 정욕을
|
| we should live |
|
우리가 살아야 한다고
|
| in this present world; |
|
지금 이 세상에서
|
|

|
| For |
|
이는
|
| the day of the LORD of hosts |
|
만군의 주님의 날이
|
| shall be |
|
임할 것이기 때문이니
|
| that is proud |
|
교만하고
|
| and upon every one |
|
모든 사람에게
|
| and |
|
그러면
|
| he shall be brought low: |
|
그는 낮아지게 될 것이다
|
|
