And whosoever

그리고 누구든지

doth not bear his cross,

자기 십자가를 지지 않고서

and come after me,

나를 따르면

cannot be my disciple.

내 제자가 될 수 없습니다

For

이는

which of you,

누가 여러분 중에서

intending to build a tower,

망대를 세우려 할 때에

sitteth not down

앉아서

first,

먼저

and counteth the cost,

그 비용을 계산하지 (않겠습니까)

whether he have sufficient

그가 충분히 가졌는지 아닌지를

to finish it?

그 일을 끝내기 위해

But

오히려

when thou makest a feast,

그대가 잔치를 베풀거든

call the poor,

가난한 이들을 부르시오

the maimed,

불구자들과

the lame,

저는 이들

the blind:

눈먼 이들을 (부르시오)

14

And thou shalt be blessed;

그러면 그대가 복 받을 것입니다

for

이는

they cannot recompense thee:

그들이 그대에게 보답하지 못하기 때문입니다

for

이는

thou shalt be recompensed

그대가 보답을 받을 것입니다

at the resurrection of the just.

의로운 이들이 부활할 때

Of old

옛적에

hast thou laid the foundation

주께서 기초를 놓으셨으며

of the earth:

땅의

and the heavens are the work

하늘들은 작품입니다

of thy hands.

주의 손이 이루신

26

They shall perish,

그것들은 사라지겠지만

but thou shalt endure:

오직 주는 지속하시며

yea,

실로

all of them shall wax old

그것들은 다 낡아질 것입니다

like a garment;

옷과 같이

as a vesture

(곧) 의복과 같이

shalt thou change them,

주께서 그것들을 바꾸실 것이니

and they shall be changed:

그것들이 바뀔 것입니다
