The LORD is merciful

주님은 긍휼이 많으시며

and gracious,

은혜로우시며

slow to anger,

화를 더디 내시며

and plenteous in mercy.

긍휼이 풍부한 분이시다

He hath not dealt

그분께서 다루지 않으셨다

with us

우리를

after our sins;

우리의 죄를 따라

nor rewarded us

또 우리를 벌하지 않으셨다

according to our iniquities.

우리의 불법을 따라

Bless the LORD,

찬미하여라 주님을

O my soul,

오 나의 혼아

and forget not

그리고 잊지 말아라

all his benefits:

그분이 베푼 모든 은택들을

Who forgiveth

그분께서는 용서하시며

all thine iniquities;

모든 그대의 불법들을

who healeth

그분께서는 고치신다

all thy diseases;

모든 그대의 질병들을

Who redeemeth thy life

그분께서는 그대의 생명을 구속하시며

from destruction;

파멸에서

who crowneth thee

그분께서는 그대에게 왕관을 씌우신다

with lovingkindness

친절한 사랑과

and tender mercies;

부드러운 긍휼로

Then

그때

shall his brother's wife come

그의 형제의 아내가 나아와서

unto him

그에게

in the presence of the elders,

그 장로들이 보는데서

and loose his shoe

그의 신을 벗게 하고

from off his foot,

그의 발에서

and spit

또 침을 뱉으면서

in his face,

그의 얼굴에

and shall answer

응대하여

and say,

말하시오

So shall it be done

이렇게 될 것이다 (라고)

unto that man

그 사람에게

that will not build up

세우려고 하지 않는

his brother's house.

그의 형제의 집을
