| And |

| the tongue is a fire, |
|
혀는 불이요
|
| a world of iniquity: |
|
불법의 세계입니다
|
| so is the tongue |
|
마찬가지로 혀는
|
| among our members, |
|
우리의 지체 중의 하나인데
|
| that it defileth |
|
그것이 더럽히고
|
| and setteth on fire |
|
불을 붙입니다
|
| the course of nature; |
|
본성적으로 가는 길에
|
| and it is set on |
|
그리고 그것은 불탑니다
|

| But he that heareth, |
|
그러나 사람이 듣고도
|
| is like a man |
|
(이런) 사람과 같습니다
|
| that without a foundation |
|
기초가 없이
|
| against which |
|
그 집에
|
| the stream did beat vehemently, |
|
물살이 세차게 치자
|
| and immediately it fell; |
|
이내 무너졌으니
|
| and the ruin of that house |
|
그 집의 무너짐이
|
|
