| Forasmuch then |

| as the children are partakers |

자녀들이란 참여자인 것 처럼

| of flesh and blood, |
|
살과 피에
|
| he also himself |
|
그분 자신 또한
|
| took part of the same; |
|
같은 살과 피에 참여 했으니
|
| that through death |
|
이것은 죽음을 통하여
|
| he might destroy him |
|
그분께서 그를 파멸시켜서
|
| that had the power of death, |
|
죽음의 권능을 가진 자
|

| For |
|
이는
|
| he that sanctifieth |
|
즉 거룩하게 하시는 분과
|
| and they who are sanctified |
|
거룩하게 된 이들 (둘 다)
|
| are all of one: |
|
모두 하나에 속해 있기 때문입니다
|
| for which cause |
|
이러한 까닭에
|
| he is not ashamed |
|
그분께서는 부끄러워하지 않습니다
|
| to call them brethren, |
|
그들을 형제라고 부르기를
|
|
